Going, Going, Gone... for 1.3m Euros!
A rare 1932 cover illustration of Tintin In America sold for a record 1.3m Euros at an Auction in Paris this past weekend.
The cover is only one of 5 remaining Hergé painted Indian ink and gouache works – only two of which are in private hands.
Other items featured at the rare sale included a copy of Explorers on the Moon signed by astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins and draft sketches of Tintin.
